Behind the build
A few things I thought about.
- It came from a real, repetitive chore. Every time I pass on a wedding I can't shoot, I end up copying a dozen photographers' names and links into an email one by one. This does the copying for me.
- The trick is knowing what to ignore. Group replies are full of 'yes please' and 'ah I'd love that', so it grabs only the links and quietly leaves the chatter out, and tidies up any hastily typed casing while it's at it.
- It's built to feed an email. 'Copy for email' keeps the links live, so pasting into Gmail gives the couple clean, clickable names, not a wall of raw web addresses.
- Nothing gets uploaded. The messages you paste and the list you build stay in your browser, on your device.
- Like the other tools, the parts that need a server, reading a screenshot and looking up each site's exact business name, are what a paid Pro would add. The free tool is genuinely useful on its own.
